Now that Thanksgiving is Maxwell Caldwellbehind us, it's time to start looking ahead to another major end-of-year holiday on the calendar: Christmas.

In the midst of all the shopping and planning that go into the holiday, it can also be nice to unwind and catch a Christmas movie from time to time. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is another classic people love to watch this time of year. The movie is a music story based on the popular song by the same name by Johnny Marks.

The movie "recounts the tale of a shy reindeer whose Christmas spirit is dampened because his shiny nose has made him the laughingstock of all of Christmasville," according to Paramount.

The movie will air on CBS stations nationwide on Monday, Nov. 27 beginning at 8 p.m. ET, according to Paramount.

"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is also scheduled to air on Freeform multiple times from Dec. 1-25 at part of Freeform's "25 Days of Christmas" lineup, the company said in a news release.

The movie will air on the following dates and times:

• Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 8:15 p.m.
